We’re qualified horse transporters and hold certificates of competence on the principles of travelling horses on long journeys. Plus, we’re real horse people with over 30 years of combined experience in handling everything from young-stock to high-value dressage horses.

SHORT DISTANCE HORSE TRANSPORT

We offer short distance horse transport in Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Berkshire, Somerset and North Hampshire. We also provide emergency horse transport in these areas.
We’re a recommended horse transport for many local vets, including B&W, Donnington Grove and Liphook. And we also make regular trips to the veterinary practices in Newmarket, London and Cambridge.

LONG DISTANCE HORSE TRANSPORT IN THE UK
Covering England, Scotland and Wales.
At DHT, we specialise in longer-distance transport. We can move horses across the whole of England, Scotland and Wales.
We run to UK and European driving legislation, to ensure your horse receives optimum care and safety.
All of our trips are dedicated runs, so your horse will travel on the most direct route between collection and delivery. This means they spend the absolute minimum time possible in transit.
We make regular welfare stops to check your horse and offer water. And we have a network of good quality overnight stabling yards all over the UK to break up long-distance journeys.

But at DHT, we’re here to help you every step of the way.
Working closely with our partners we are able to assist. Guiding you through pre-travel requirements, arranging health papers and customs documents, to delivering your horse to its new home, we have it all covered.
